River and Water Studies

Through my involvement with Dr. Jane Goodall's Roots & Shoots, the educational outreach of her organization, I have become very involved in issues that affect our planet. Due to the proximity of the school campus where I work to the Wolf River which empties into the Mississippi River in downtown Memphis, the faculty members of my school have worked with me to develop interdisciplinary lessons related to water. I hope you will share your experiences with us through this site so that we can all learn together, raise student awareness of environmental issues, and make a difference!
